Washing miniatures is a technique that uses a thin, low viscosity pigmented color that flows into deeper crevices, troughs, and cracks of a figure. You quickly apply a small amount of paint to the raised edges of the texture of your models. I almost always use a wash in my miniature painting. First of all what is a wash?
